Dearest readers,
We thought you might have some questions about coronavirus and how it's effecting your Prudence and the Crow subscription.
As a purely online business, we are OPEN and here to bring you your Prudence and the Crow boxes as usual.
The postal service is still in operation as normal and we are able to get all your parcels into our local parcel post box with as little human contact as possible.
Here at Prudence and the Crow HQ it's just us two - Prudence and Crow - working to source, design, pack and get your subscription boxes into the post along with the invaluable help of Prudence's mum who makes the book bags and the library card holders. We all work from home and everything we need is right here on site. We have enough for everyone for several months to come.
We print in house where possible and all our supplies are delivered to our door before being carefully packed up along with your selected book.
We all have a vigorous hand washing policy (something we have always had due to the nature of our work) and for added safely we are also giving our books a careful and completely painless wipe down with antiseptic wipes (also something we were doing anyway).
For your safely and ours we are limiting our contact with the outside world as much as possible and have a huge stock of books ready and at hand to draw from to find your perfect literary match.
All our parcels are sent using Royal Mail. They state that Public Health England (PHE) has advised that people receiving parcels are not at risk of contracting the coronavirus and that experience with other coronaviruses tells us these types of viruses don't survive long on objects, such as letters or parcels.

We hope to be able to continue to supply you with lovingly chosen vintage book bundles for the foreseeable.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us using our contact form here.
Stay safe and keep reading!
